What's in a Dancer's Bag?
Below are some suggestions on what a fully- prepared dancer has in their bag. Not every item is going to be relevant for every dancer.
  • Extra clothes for temperature fluctuation: warmups, jacket, shorts, legwarmers, sweats, etc.
  • Deodorant
  • Hair ties, bobby pins, hairspray or gel, brush
  • Foot care in case of blisters: bandaids, burn/blister pads, toe tape
  • Sewing kit
  • All dance shoes
  • Therabands, flexistretcher
  • Water
  • Healthy snacks
  • Extra face masks
  • Socks
  • Knee pads
*Please note that wearing large or dangling jewelry can be very dangerous while dancing, as it can easily snag or get caught in hair/ clothing. We recommend dancers take jewelry off before class.
