What is the Kit/Prime Experience?
Callanwolde School of Dance, home to professional ensemble, Kit Modus, and the Prime Mover Company, has invested resources into creating and sustaining a mentorship program between the dance artists of Kit Modus and the highest level of dancer at Callanwolde, the Pro-Prime Movers. A process and performance is forged each spring, which deepens the relationship and conversation between professional and aspiring dancers. Every year the relationship is refined, and the content is driven by the gradual mastery of this unique educational process. This year, our Kit/Prime Experience has culminated in ARRIVAL: a performance to showcase this distinct educational grid which combines Callanwolde's approach to collaborative artistic leadership and the commitment to the wisdom and artistry of the creative process.
